Horstman's Poultry

Horstmans' Poultry is located 30 miles west of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the little hamlet of Paris on 10 acres that has been in the family since the early 40's.

I began raising purebred exhibition poultry in 1959 at the age of 15.  My first bantams were Barred Rocks, which I still raise today.  We keep only small matings and sell from the same pens we hatch our own from.  Many of our large fowl breeds are heritage breeds.  All of our heritage breeds have been evaluated by two licensed poultry judges and have been determined to meet the standards for heritage breeds.

I am a master exhibitor with both the A.B.A and A.P.A. and am a licensed A.B.A. judge.
